Store Manager Designate – Signet Trading Ltd – Edinburgh Area

You will lead your team from the front in a role based predominantly on the shop floor. You’ll engage in one to one selling using your knowledge and passion for the product to help our customers and ensure high visual merchandising standards are maintained.
You’ll be pivotal in motivating and helping to support the development of your team members.
As a Store Manager you will have a direct impact on our businesses financial success and you will manage the commercial performance of your store. Your KPI achievement is linked to the bonuses you and your team will receive.
Are you who we are looking for?
Our stores in Edinburgh are fast paced, have high footfall and normally turnover over a million pounds. We’re looking for a talented individual who can deliver commercially measurable results through motivating their team to deliver an amazing customer service.
You’ve got to be passionate about retail, with the charisma to inspire in a strong customer service culture. You will have experience gained working for a multi site retailer in a £million+ turnover store managing a team of at least 5 people minimum.
You will love being at the forefront of things, and have experience gained working in an assisted customer environment, helping them to make the right choice when it comes to that all important purchase.
Passion for our products is also essential. You will ideally have gained experience working in a luxury goods or similar sales environment where you have sold high quality, valuable and prestigious brands.
We have an award winning Learning and Development team. They have helped to develop a training programme that you will embark on enabling you to learn all about our products and what it takes to be a successful manager in our business. This means you don’t need to be a jeweller to work for us but we do hope you are passionate about what we sell.
You will travel to stores in your area to learn about the role from your peers! As established Store Managers, they will be selected to support you in your training. They are great at what they do, so are best placed to share their knowledge with you so you can be just as successful.
We will also support you to gain a recognised jewellery qualification so that you understand our products even better.
