Jewellery Sales Consultant & Show Coordinator

Full Time; Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.30pm

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with previous sales experience in the jewellery or luxury sector to join the existing team.

A passion for jewellery is essential however further training will be provided as required.

Role Includes

  • Organisation and preparation for Jewellery trade shows throughout the year. Including stand layout, stock exports, shipments and related costings.
  • Building and managing relationships with trade and retail customers.
  • Stock management - oversee and manage a stock control system
  • Monitoring and driving sales in the business trade and online businesses.
  • Prepare for retail customer appointments by understanding the client’s needs.
  • Ensuring customer service is of the highest standard. Join the sales team in providing the highest level of service to the customer in a luxurious environment
  • Demonstrate great commercial awareness - maximising profit while minimising costs
  • Support and motivate the team to achieve high targets and create a happy working environment, demonstrating a can do attitude
  • Quote and sell by phone to trade and public customers
  • Answering phone calls
  • Despatching customer orders

Ideal Candidate Qualities

  • Responsible self-starter and show exceptional attention to detail
  • Very well organised, able to multitask and prioritise
  • You must be driven, enthusiastic and have good foundation and passion for the luxury jewellery industry and thrive in a fast paced environment and handle challenging situations daily.
  • This is a very hands on position, so we are looking for someone with a friendly, positive and helpful attitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Professional and self-motivated with a proven sales focussed background ideally within a high end jewellery environment;
  • Fluent English speaker
  • You must be target-driven and have a clear understanding of turnover, experience of working with large turnovers would be preferable
  • You must have customer relationship management and must be able to build and keep a loyal client base for the company
  • You must have strong communicational and numerical skills including profit and sales margins.
  • A good level of IT literacy, Microsoft proficient in particular Excel
  • Diamond & Jewellery knowledge
  • Manufacturing experience
