The PARKHOUSE business was bought by Scotland’s oldest family jeweller LAING in 1995.

Excitingly from September this year these two great businesses are to officially become one, and the Parkhouse stores will trade as LAING .

As Britain’s oldest independently owned Jeweller is today directed by a fifth generation Laing family member together with a surrounding Executive team recognised to be amongst our industries best.

Upholding a tradition of excellence in jewellery retail service for over 220 years the decades to come are now set to become even more exciting…and what’s more you could share in this.

Our Cardiff Store has just undergone a full refurbishment last year, and will shortly be given a fresh exterior with new signage to reflect the LAING re-branding.

The team as treasured as they are will remain to be the regions go to trusted Luxury Watch & Jewellery experts - and a several new sales team members are now sought.

Presently there is an opening for an experienced SALES CONSULTANT ideally with an abundance of sales experience selling watch merchandise.

The brands featured in-store at Cardiff are very much Luxury Horological marques with a number exclusive to our clients business within the Principality.

As to sales approach you need to be inherently customer service driven with a passion for the brands that you are tasked to sell in-store.

Product and brand knowledge need to surpass all other re-sellers and to assist with this our clients suppliers frequently train in-store as well as invite group employees to attend relevant seminars; ensuring both core and future releases are ever confidently represented .

In-store every enquiry or purchase should be seen as an opportunity to further gild loyalty to all that LAING can offer.

You should be a sales opportunist able to inspire each store guests to feel comfortable and able to gain trust from those in a position to purchase their dream timekeeping item.

Organisationally you need to be an accurate with all administrational tasks - be hands-on when it comes to ensuring merchandise is correctly displayed and once complete competence is accomplished with either a brand or a daily set store task be prepared to share this good practice with as eager performance- minded colleagues.

Client networking in the field of Luxury goods is definitely an area of further sales development opportunity - your flair for communication will undoubtedly make a difference here.
