Elite Associates have partnered with a well-known watches brand to recruit a Business Manager. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a business at a pivotal time of growth and expansion. The role will involve ensuring all targets, financial and otherwise are met. To provide a clear framework for overseeing and implementing our different brand strategies.

To provide leadership and direction
To contribute to the setting of overall brand budgets and forecasts within his/her remit, communicating these to the team and monitoring performance against targets
To manage the national account team and ensure that they meet all targets and fully optimise all opportunities within their accounts
To develop specific brand strategies; this will be shared across the teams so the precise strategies may be clearly followed.
To provide support for the managers with relevant brand plans and new product introductions which may be tailored for use with our different retail channels
To monitor market trends and competitor activity, and create relevant competitor range maps which will help to develop counter measures for our brands
To oversee the product selection, purchasing and pricing decisions for all brands within his/her remit, influencing the direction of the brands for the UK market, and working with designers to develop new merchandise
To participate in regular merchandising meetings with suppliers to understand corporate strategies and make relevant product selections
To oversee the management of the product range size and number of SKUs for each brand within his/her remit
To recruit, manage, motivate, guide and coach all direct reports, ensuring performance standards are met and appropriate conduct is maintained by all members of the team
To work towards a standardisation of processes and reports across all of the company
To oversee the planning staff on the monthly and annual forecasting, budgeting and business planning processes ensuring that product orders and inventory controls are in place and align with our brand budgets
To monitor profit margins, inventory control and stock rotation, to ensure that the Company's targets are met
To build and maintain close working relationships with key personnel within our National and Regional accounts
To identify and develop new channels of distribution, working in conjunction with the team to covert prospects into customers
At appropriate times, to review product ranges, display and advertising activity with National Account buyers and merchandising teams, in conjunction with the Managers.
To monitor product category sales and provide such reports and information as may be required by the Directors from time to time
To contribute creative ideas to the Sales Division relating to product ranges, display and POS initiatives, retail incentives, merchandising and staff training programmes
To participate in the company sales meetings where appropriate
To liaise with Corporate Marketing Department in relation to promotional activities within the agreed budget controls
To assist with other duties and undertake special projects as requested.
