Representing one of today’s most appreciated designer fashion names - this client holds a global manufacturing and distribution agreement and bring to market highly saleable collections of Watches & Jewellery.
Here in the UK the brand team have phenomenal corporate resourcing and next year wish to invest in a ‘Jewellery ‘ specialist able to use their market experience to move not just one step forward but several steps and more !
This new role affords a rare ‘blue sky’ opportunity to really impact from virtually ‘ the brands early days ‘ such mandates could almost be billed ‘ once in a career lifetime ‘.
You have already achieved your National Account handling spurs and for this specific opportunity experience within the realms of Fashion Jewellery is a must.
The ideal candidate find could also helpfully have had experience in product development ; be well networked with many key industry buyers and possess foresight that will empower the business to produce an ever stronger brand proposition.
A forte has to be new business development - and this could span National Multiple Retail Jewellers , Leading Department Store Groups as well as significant Independently owned & operated Watch & Jewellery retail businesses.
Travel Retail - E-Commerce , Buying Groups and Regional key players could all also generate additional revenue - the brand proposition they already (in a Watch format) know and sell rather well.
Reporting to a Sales Director you will be given the encouragement to ‘steer your own ship’ with the reassurance that field team resourcing will quickly arrive and become ever more category focused as soon as new trading agreements are won.
Group wise your previous Jewellery Sales & Marketing experience should pay great dividends - you’ll be able to truly lead and relatively quickly take ultimate responsibility - though it calls for great personal confidence and the ability too continually post great sales results season after season.
You must be very PC literate , ever appreciative of relatively short sales cycles and have the flare and gusto to be ever forward conscious of building for this group long term a really significant UK Jewellery distribution capability .
Potential here within this much rated wholly owned UK subsidiary is phenomenal ; forecasts are already needing to be revised upwards - this is before you’ve even joined !
