Kronaby is a new, international, premium hybrid watch brand, presenting the next generation of watches to an eager marketplace. This merchandise is not only about keeping time, it’s about the wearers and their priorities in everyday life.  

Excitingly, further investment has been released for 2018 to enable Kronaby to accelerate the realisation of the United Kingdom’s true market potential. 

Reporting directly to our client’s Head of Global Sales based in Malmo, Sweden, the new Brand Director will immediately participate in and contribute to this growth strategy for the UK, using the innate positivity and “can do” drive that will ensure his/her voice is heard by top tier company managers.  

You are an intuitive, natural leader, who relates well to innovative products and new technology, and has the enterprise and confidence to inspire others to raise their merchandise expectation and category understanding to a whole new level. 

Your Watch Industry track record of success speaks for itself; you have already led a brand at national level, and you are well-connected with the majority of leading National Multiple Retail Jeweller accounts. Experience of successfully launching new merchandise – and ideally a new brand – will be a positive advantage.  

As the new country head, you will take direct personal control of all National Account business, as well as encouraging ever closer ties with key buying groups such as the CMJ Group.  

Independent Retailers are serviced by established Sales Associate teams (North and South) who have already begun the trade introduction process; you will take advantage of these early contacts to raise the achievement of the whole team, using your market knowledge and contacts to establish the breadth and depth of distribution this brand truly deserves. 

As well as generating new major account listings, which will always be your prime focus, you will also be the local market link to the company’s Marketing & Communications team, ensuring the optimal UK market outcome. 

Before too long, sufficient progress will have been made to enable the establishment of a UK Office, staffed by appropriate local administrative support personnel. Previous experience of managing HQ staff, as well as those operating in the field, will be another useful string to your bow when it comes to selection.
