Our client is recognised as Britain’s No.1 watch distribution business. They are now eagerly seeking a talented visual merchandising professional to join their Field Merchandising/Sales Support team.
Campaigning on behalf of three brand greats: SEKONDA, ACCURIST and LIMIT watches, this role will provide numerous opportunities for your visual merchandising sales training talents to achieve maximum impact. Your major account focus will include National Multiple Retail Jewellers, major Department Stores and Travel Retailers.
Your mission is to facilitate optimal sell-through results for all the company’s authorised retail stockists – which based on your trade appreciation to date you already passionately understand. You will achieve this by ensuring that each group brand you proudly represent is displayed in accordance with the agreed planogram and that Point-of-Sale materials are both current and perfectly positioned.
Ideally you can already boast at least two years’ merchandising experience with a watch brand or retail jeweller, building upon your previous retail sales experience within a recognised High Street jewellery name. Educated to GCSE level, you are a gifted communicator with excellent day-to-day organisational capabilities.
Your personal presentation standards are of a quality that reflects the ‘the corporate standard‘ that a recipient store will expect to welcome when you arrive to provide brand support.
Ever eager to ensure that the appropriate stock is ready to sell-out, you will accurately record all relevant sales and store standards information for historic review, enabling you to identify opportunities for mutual improvement.
Forging strong reciprocal store relationships will be vital; all levels of store personnel from Watch Sales Associate to Store Manager or indeed Regional/District Manager will derive benefit from your visits. Keen to share with others your expertise in how to best maintain displays as well as the key features and benefits of the brands, you relish opportunities to provide training wherever and whenever required, and encourage them to maintain adherence to the planograms between your visits.
The business will provide plenty of support, initially from your Senior Sales Support colleague in the South of England, as well as full training in the specific requirements of each brand. The team is very much looking to embracing a new colleague who will thrive - as they all do daily - on maximising their business’s growing market share, an achievement in which your own refreshing approach will soon play its part!
