Hockley Mint are now on the search for a dedicated Sales Representative to service an established account base of Independently-owned High Street Retail Jewellers. The territory has enjoyed consistent coverage to date, but as always, there may also be new business opportunities waiting to be explored.
Given our client’s specialism, familiarity with jewellery sales (rings, cast components, findings and parts), or at least a basic understanding of how these essential elements need to be sourced and utilised, would be a distinct advantage. Nevertheless, with the opportunity for in-depth training support in their sphere of excellence, exceptional sales candidates from other backgrounds who are willing and able to learn quickly could also win consideration.
Whether your career thus far has been in Field Sales (watch and jewellery or otherwise) or you are a Professional Retail Jeweller wishing to break away from the “bricks and mortar” environment to join our client’s field sales and service team, the challenge of this role is to develop greater product distribution through the Retail Jeweller customer base, for the ultimate advantage of all parties.
You are a thoughtful product presenter, keen to introduce new areas of supply that may add additional revenue streams, and possessing a natural facility for communicating trade changes and opportunities now being brought to the market by the manufacturing specialist you will proudly represent.
Very often the field sales team is instrumental in the development of retailers’ Jewellery trade and Jewellery sales understanding, so an approachable persona and a keenness to impart your own knowledge whenever beneficial to your customers, will be important indicators of company “fit”.
The business is developing an array of sales tools to assist their retailing clientele even further; you will be keen to implement and install these within every relevant account you visit.
You will of course benefit from the encouragement and support of your experienced and successful colleagues at Hockley Mint, but personally you are a natural “business chaser”, always aware of the consequences of each commercial decision you make within your sales territory, and able to use your exceptional organisational skills for maximum impact.
