We are looking for an Ecommerce Executive to join a British jewellery brand that celebrates individuality, creativity and are the epitome of inclusive luxury. The brand has a number of stores, including Flagships in London, New York, Dubai and HK and is stocked in the world’s premier department stores from Harrods and Selfridges in London to Shinsegae in Korea. The successful Ecommerce Executive will report into the Head of Digital, the Ecommerce Executive is responsible for driving website performance, ensuring the site is optimised to maximise conversions and revenue, fuelling online growth. The Ecommerce Executive’s ultimate objective will be to increase conversion rate, and you will do this through identifying stress-points through the customer online journey, and working with the Product team to prioritise improvements throughout the site. You will be the main conduit between Product and Marketing, capturing the requirements from other areas (e.g. landing pages for paid search) and feeding them into the Product project backlog. As the Ecommerce Executive you will also execute and support technical and onsite SEO – feeding in any back-end requirements to ensure the site is technically sound, and ensuring that products are merchandised and pages created in a way that sets the brand up for online success.

 

Experience
 

  • 2-4 years’ experience in an ecommerce or digital marketing role
  • Experience with marketing analytics and website testing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, VWO, Optimizely)
  • Experience working with a Content Management System essential
     
  • Good knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel

Skills
 

  • Highly analytical with the ability to collate, analyse and present data and drive clear insights to the business
  • Proven experience of creating customer centric, value based proposals
  • Demonstrable understanding of key website metrics, and cause and effect for each
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-organised, logical and efficient with outstanding project and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter with an ambitious spirit, able to handle parallel work streams resourcefully and at pace, working both independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to rolls sleeves up and get your hands dirty
  • The exceptionally strong attention to detail required when working in live environments
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript preferred, but not essential
