Wholesale Operations Assistant

Elite Associates have partnered with a beautiful fine jewellery brand based in New Bond Street to recruit a Japanese Speaking Wholesale Operations Assistant. The ideal candidate will have an appreciation and understanding of the Luxury goods industry. Fluent Japanese is a MUST for this role.

Liaise with Retail and Wholesale departments to identify range requirements.
Assist managing stock ledger database; creation, updating and deletion of live files.
Issuing purchase orders to suppliers and managing purchase order book.
Liaising with factories for production schedules and product costing.
Liaising with freight agents for imports and exports of finished and processing goods.
Purchase ledger entry for goods and supplies for sale.
Assisting with goods in, ticketing and presentation to sales departments.
Additional adhoc duties as maybe assigned.



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Fluent English and Japanese.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word.
Experience of Import and Export of merchandise desirable.
Professionalism, flexibility and the ability to work under pressure.
Attention to Detail.
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a team, to communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and clients.
Knowledge or Exchequer Accounts and Stock Management software and advantage
Experience with working within the Jewellery industry an advantage.
