Position: Membership Development Manager
Location: National, with access to Rugby H.O. essential
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive plus Company car, mobile phone, laptop and expenses

About the role:
You will work closely with the head office team to increase the number of retailers in the group and develop existing business with CMJ. The role will involve interaction with both potential and present members; to increase awareness and understanding of the CMJ and the benefits of being part of the UK’s largest group of retail jewellers.
The ideal applicant will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the CMJ and what it offers the independent retailer, therefore some industry knowledge would be preferable although not essential. However, you will be motivated by helping others to develop professionally and need to demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
The suitable candidate will already have experience of working as part of a business development or membership development team and probably be field based. Members already exist throughout the UK and areas of special geographic attention would be outlined as a priority. Experience in retail would also be a significant advantage though not essential to candidates who can demonstrate a clear understating of the jewellery retail environment.
As Membership Development Manager you will be expected to achieve targets and objectives from your own resource and supplied recommendations. The successful individual will work with our head office support team to ensure consistent and high-quality communications with membership potentials, to assist with the recruitment and retention of CMJ members.
