Business Development Manager
Brown & Newirth , Fine Jewellery Manufacturers based in Hatfield , Hertfordshire have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager to cover the Southern England region. The role is field based and requires applicants to reside within this area .
Established in 1967 , the business has become the leading bridal , commitment jewellery designer and manufacturer in the UK working with independent stockists across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Providing a full range of high quality , UK manufactured rings and jewellery.

Working within the structure of an existing sales team the BDM role is an important member of the team liaising directly with an established client base within their own territory, supported by a customer experience team at Hatfield.
This exciting , dynamic and rewarding position will require the applicant to demonstrate tat they have the ability to maximise sales opportunities and business development. You will need to be self- motivated , ambitious , communicate efficiently and effectively with retail partners and internal departments. Identify and convert new strategic business whilst developing sales growth. Further activities include taking orders from clients , training retail staff, setting budgets and targets.
You need to be prepared to make decisions whilst seeking ways to moderate risk and maximise return.
The ideal candidate will be confident , enthusiastic , enjoy working independently and have excellent communication skills.
You will be driven , quick paced , self-motivated , demonstrate an active approach whilst providing imaginative solutions to challenging problems.
This position benefits from a highly competitive basic salary up to c. £36K (dependent on experience ) with a performance related bonus + healthcare + pension + all hardware required and a company car.
