TWO FIELD SALES TRAINERS
Salary c. £25,000p.a + quarterly bonus + car/car allowance + incentives
Already a much-favoured trade distribution business, our client has within a relatively short period of time made significant inroads into the area of Jewellery industry consumables supplies.
To their immense credit, they have selected significant brand partners within each specific product area, committed themselves to offering the ultimate trade marketing support, and alongside their partners’ field sales teams have brought in a rich seam of market-aligned products to dramatically increase point-of-exit sales.
Never standing still, the company has now secured an industry-leading safe ear piercing system, which will allow Jewellers to reclaim their rightful entitlement to sell and serve in this market specialism.
The search is now on for two experienced field sales trainers, already familiar with safe ear piercing techniques, to cover the northern and southern halves of the UK respectively.
Perhaps you have been professionally trained and accredited to deliver this service within a retail jewellery setting. Alternatively, you may have gained your knowledge and accreditation in one of the range of other practitioners, such as fashion accessory retailers, beauty salons and spa establishments, now also meeting the insatiable consumer demand for this service.
You may now feel motivated to break free from the retail store/treatment room environment, to pursue an exciting new career inducting and training others in best ear piercing practices.
Whether your previous career has been as a retailer, trainer or beauty therapist, our client’s exclusive area of market focus will be the Jewellery business, so it is to this sector that your future brand building endeavours will be dedicated.
You will need to demonstrate an empathy for the everyday challenges faced by your colleagues working within retail, and be able to guide and mentor store personnel to develop a new-found confidence in ear piercing and selling associated products.
Always conscious of the need to adhere to market regulation, you will advise on and reinforce best industry practice, and ensure compliance at every stage.
Personally, you have an inspiring, “can-do” approach. You listen carefully and respond succinctly to questions from store personnel, ensuring deep understanding, and providing encouragement to as many sales specialists as possible to train and become accredited in delivering ear piercing in-store.
You have excellent planning and organisational skills, enabling you to prioritise your workload, whilst retaining the flexibility to react to any new opportunities that may arise in the field, including attending any trade shows and events which you may deem appropriate.
In terms of career development, it is anticipated that before too long the Field Sales Trainer network will require additional resourcing, which could provide the chance to step forward into a team management and leadership role, in order to replicate among others the high standards you have already implemented in the field.
