Our client is firmly established within the elite of independently-owned Retail Jewellers, and continues to invest in its store infrastructure. Excitingly, this Stratford showroom has recently been expanded, as the business seeks to maximise its capacity to serve visiting clientele.

To drive this initiative forward, the expertise of a talented Watch Technician is now sought, who will take sole responsibility for this satellite workshop, undertaking tasks ranging from everyday adjustments to all necessary repairs, as well as contributing to showroom sales by advising clients on the technical aspects of each watch brand.

To be considered for this intriguing role, a professional Watchmaker qualification is a must, as is a willingness to immerse yourself in specific after-sales training, under the direction and encouragement of the company’s Senior Watchmaker.

For certain brands you may be required to facilitate estimates, liaising as necessary with company colleagues away from your own store location until such time as you have gained appropriate manufacturer accreditation.

On the bench, you will approach every task with diligence and the utmost attention to accuracy, in order to deliver unfailing excellence in after-sales care of the precious timepieces entrusted to you.

Your salesmanship skills will also be valued, located as you will be within view of all store visitors, and therefore seen as the fountain of specialist Luxury Watch knowledge. Understandably your selling style is highly technically-based, and (when bench tasks permit) you delight in enhancing customers’ existing brand knowledge and introducing to them brands that may not hitherto have been their first purchasing thought.

As with your logical and careful approach to all matters relating to the workshop, your sales modus operandi is factual, respectful and far reaching, with the overall aim of both exciting and reassuring clients that they can entrust their purchasing dream to this deserving location with complete confidence.
