My client is looking for a very well-connected Jewellery Sales Professional, capable of strategically targeting established trade figures able to capitalise fast on the new brand’s internationally-recognised sell-through potential.
You have a natural facility for building new distribution networks, able rapidly to judge which Independent Jeweller would best promote, serve and deliver the optimal brand experience to both new and established devotees.
A key feature of your salesmanship skills is a natural affinity with the brand(s) you represent. It is anticipated that in the future the initial single brand distribution focus will widen to embrace additional Watch and Jewellery labels looking to gain access to their selectively opened Jewellery and Watch sales channels; our client hopes that the professionalism you demonstrate with their first brand will open the door for what’s next and what’s new.
Your sales reputation is built on more than simply introducing newness, however. You are well versed in training store staff to provide perfect brand service, and are adept at ensuring brand point of sales and merchandising standards are consistently honoured.
During the launch phase, there will surely be opportunities to attend VIP customer evenings and high profile Jewellery trade events. For you these will be viewed not as a chore, but rather as further opportunities to create and reinforce enduring professional relationships.
As their field-based partnerships continue to flourish under your stewardship, your enterprise and distribution expertise may well be seconded from time to time to areas not yet covered by a full time employee, with a view to cherry picking key re-sellers across the different regions.
As soon as the time is right to invest in additional field representation, you may be called upon to induct new personnel into the team, taking advantage of an incipient network of accounts to manage, rather than initially being out-and-out sales pioneers like yourself.
