Our client is at the forefront of the mined diamond jewellery industry, successfully distributing and marketing their fine jewellery diamond brand to retail jewellers nationally.
Job Role:
An incredibly wide-ranging role today exists to offer administrational slickness and support to the UK and Ireland business unit ensuring that our client’s customers always receive best supplier service.
Reporting to the Operations Management team you would constantly keep check of stock inventories, place when permitted factory orders and when goods are received ready all merchandise for future hallmarking.
There is expected to be frequent liaison with our client’s retail jeweller clientele and for you this presents an opportunity to showcase your efficiency in whatever task or challenge you might be asked to helpfully resolve.
As expected, you’ll need to maintain accurate ledgers on both incoming and leaving shipments of product so a pedantic focus and constant knowledge of where goods are and when they are likely to be safely delivered is a responsibility never taken lightly.
Requirements:

It is felt that the successful applicant should understand and have worked previously within a fine jewellery wholesale setting – ideally in a Head Office / Administrational role.

A passion and understanding of jewellery production are felt to be needed as there will be a requirement to liaise regularly with external workshops to ensure our clients items are ready for onward dispatch.

It may be to assist with client sales you’d need to organise stock to be appropriately ring -sized, polished, or indeed stone set, in accordance with any customer need. Therefore, knowledge and capability to quality control returning items of jewellery is imperative.

You’ll need to have a careful eye for administrational detail be extremely fluent I.T and systems wise and be constantly searching for ways that your adaptability can make a tangible office performance difference.
