This Thames Valley based Family Jeweller is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year and woven throughout their trading journey there has been industry awards, investment in their own workshop facilities and development of new stores. Corporately they specialise in bringing to market handmade jewellery, offer a bespoke making service alongside selling uniquely sourced collections of vintage and pre-loved jewellery.

Job Role:
Every working day you will be an invaluable team member, with the rare opportunity to work alongside highly experienced members of staff be they retail, workshop or head office colleagues.
Often in retail you are operating within just one showroom space this challenge though sees your capabilities tested and challenged across two prime store sites which will really supercharge your early company understanding.
Sales are of course ever in your acquisition sights and to support this achievement goal the professional image of your showroom space(s) with regards to visual merchandising and housekeeping must be of top order. The vastness of ranges that you are empowered to sell does require a thirst for learning and a genuine interest in the history and production method of all precious items that you bring to market.
After-sales is an area that very often is a challenge to comprehend. Your experience over time will allow your stores to attract ever more incoming work all which can be restored to be as near pristine as possible by this company’s very own bench artisans.
Requirements:

Experience within a retail jewellery business would of course be beneficial – but more importantly perhaps is an understanding of selling luxury goods and the responsibility of ensuring best client service experience.
